The Catholic Me

Protestants claim the Bible disproves the Catholic dogma of Mary’s Bodily Assumption in 1 Corinthians 15:22-23. But is this true? Karlo Broussard gives reasons why the answer is no.

Bodily assumption into Heaven is not contrary to Scripture – it’s right there in Scripture for all to see. God has deemed that these saints be lifted bodily – assumed – into Heaven.

Jesus is God, The Son of God, The Father. By the power of God, The Holy Spirit, Mary is His mother.

If God saw fit to assume Enoch, Elijah, and the two witnesses bodily into Heaven, Why would he not assume His own mother, also?
